All Samsung refurbished LCD & Plasma televisions carry 1 year warranty. If any problems are found within first 45 days of purchase, contact E-Outlet Canada for an exchange. If any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship on Plasma or LCD televisions are found after 45 days from the date of purchase, customer MUST contact Cornerstone directly for in-home service warranty (some restrictions may apply). There are over 300 authorized service centers across Canada covering all major cities.
The warranty will pay a Cornerstone authorized service center to repair and/or replace parts that fail under normal use. If work on the covered product is performed by anyone other than a Cornerstone authorized service center, the warranty will become void. Service is in-home basis for all televisions bigger than 32 inches, televisions that are 32 inches and smaller are "carry-in" only to the nearest Cornerstone authorized service center. Extra charges such as overtime and shipping are not covered. Mileage coverage is provided within a 45km radius of an authorized service center. The owner of the product is responsible for any additional mileage at a rate of $2.50 per kilometer. In the event the owner of the product fails to keep an in-home service appointment or there is no fault found with the product, the owner of the product is responsible for the cost of the service call. The plan owner must maintain the product in accordance with the owner's manual and manufacturer's specifications. Failure to follow recommended manufacturer's maintenance schedules may void this warranty. Warranty is only valid for residential use and will become void if the product(s) were used in a commercial application.
Exclusions: The warranty does not cover failure due to, but not limited to, improper installation or product modifications, negligence, theft, vandalism, impact, fire, lightning, power failures and/or power surges, rust, corrosion, spilled liquids, exposure to weather, moisture and other environmental conditions or acts of Nature. Damage to cabinets or other components or parts is not covered. Accessories and/or consumables (cables, cords, exterior wiring, casings, straps, lost knobs or handles, adaptors, adaptors, remote controls and accessories that are not part of the original OEM product package, batteries, levelling devices, bulbs, antennas, customer replaceable fuses, house fuses or breakers, screens or screen burn-in, DLP bulbs and personal items left in the product or stored in memory are not covered. The warranty becomes void if the product serial number has been removed or altered in any way. The warranty does not cover routine maintenance, adjustment of controls or consumer education. Labour, material, expenses or equipment required to comply with law and/or regulations imposed or set forth by any governmental agency, are not covered in the warranty.
Delays: The warranty does not guarantee days or time of service. The Administrator or E-Outlet Canada shall not be liable for any damages or inconvenience, whatsoever, arising out of delays, either before or after a day or time of service is agreed upon. The Administrator (Cornerstone United) or E-Outlet Canada is not responsible for delays caused by non-availability of replacement parts.
Limit of Liability: The aggregate of all coverage and benefits paid or payable under the warranty shall not exceed the original price paid for the product, less installation costs. If the aggregate limit is met or if the product is replaced in its entirety or a Plan buy out credit is issued, the maximum liability has been met under the Plan and the customer may be required to surrender the product to the selling Dealer, as determined by the Administrator. If any repairs are performed by any individual or company other than Cornerstone authorized service center on LCD & PDP televisions then warranty becomes void.
